We didn’t have a conventional first date, since we met backpacking in the Yukon. But we did take a few walks together under the midnight sun and jumped into glacial streams together. Dena did not understand that we were dating at this point.

Our logo is a drawing from our close friend that combines our two last names. An eagle feather for Adler - which means Eagle in german. And a peacock feather to represent Colin's family name - Peacock.

Colin proposed to Dena during their travels through the backcountry in Canyonlands National Park. He carried an antique turquoise ring for a full week while waiting for the perfect sunset. After watching the elk in the valley as the sun dipped beneath the horizon, Colin proposed.

She was probably in love for a long time, without realizing it. It just blossomed.
