Sara and Yonah knew that a traditional wedding wouldn’t suit them – two vivacious people filled with too much exuberance and a thrill for excitement. And so they opted for a destination wedding, choosing the woods of Connecticut that would still allow for their dearest friends and family to partake. Their childhood love of sleep away camp spurred their ambitions. Fond memories they wanted to share with their loved ones and so they recreated that experience on the 10th of September. The day was rich with laughter and adventure – brightly colored shirts and sloshing water balloons, ziplines whistling through trees and canoe rides on the placid lake of summer almost-gone.
As the sun waned behind the forest mountain tops, Sara and Yonah exchanged their vows of promise. And under the canopy of stars and twinkling tent lights, they celebrated amongst the echo of joyous celebration.
